Can I shop on dudiedogbandanas.co.uk with confidence?

When will I receive my order? 

All Dudiedog accessories are handmade to order right here at Dudiedog HQ. Bandana orders without any personalisation generally ship within 3-4 business days, but often faster. Personalised bandanas, Droolbusters and bow ties require an extra 3-4 days. Our standard free postage (2nd class Royal Mail) should take 2-3 days to arrive after dispatch time. Postal disputes & strikes can cause delays, and this is beyond our control. When ordering you have the option to upgrade to first class postage, which should take 1-2 days. You can also choose to have your order tracked.

Orders to Europe should take approx 5-7 days to arrive after dispatch, and Rest of the World orders from 7-10 working days. These are not guaranteed times, and it's always a good idea to keep an eye on local postal issues/strikes etc that may delay deliveries. If you want to be able to keep an eye on the status of your package you need to select tracked shipping options.Find out more about our shipping options here. 

How much is shipping & how is it calcuated?

First the great news! All UK orders qualify for free shipping! This is Royal Mail standard 2nd class. You can upgrade your shipping to 1st class or a tracked/signed for service. Selecting these does not mean that your items will be produced/dispatched sooner than usual.

When calculating the cost of delivery for both the UK, Europe and the rest of the world the estimated weight is the determining factor.  If you are charged too much  you will receive a refund. If you are charged too little it's your lucky day!

How do I know what size my dog needs?             

We have a full guide to sizes for all of our accessories here.  If you're in any doubt at all we're here to help. Just drop us a line or give us a call. If you can measure your dog's neck before you get in touch that will help us to guide you to the perfect size.

What if the size I ordered isn't right for my dog?  

Don't panic! We're here to help! We accept returns, & can exchange unused & unwashed items. We guarantee 100% satisfaction, and are known for our great customer service! See our full returns policy here. 

How do I tie a bandana so it's comfortable and secure?

We recommend tying your dog's bandana with a firm reef knot. A reef knot can't slip undone, so you won't risk losing the bandana. We have compiled a page of fitting instructions here.  After a couple of practices you will be  able to put your dog's bandana on without thinking about it!

What is the difference between the standard & premium bandanas?

All of our bandanas are super-high quality, and are made in exactly the same way. And while all of our bandanas are made from lovely high quality cotton fabrics the premium designs are of a slightly heavier weight and/or are made by some of the top craft/quilting cotton producers, such as Benartex & Lewis & Irene. 

Can I wash the bandanas and bow ties?

Dudiedog bandanas and Droolbusters are machine washable at 40 degrees, which we believe is vital for any dog accessory that is going to be worn out and about! The only exceptions to this are our embroidered bandanas, for which we recommend a slightly cooler  & gentler cycle at 30 degrees, and our glitter prints, for which we recommend  hand washing. 

Our bow ties can be gently mashine washed & dried flat, but we prefer hand washing these, in order to keep ther shape. 

Will my dog mind wearing a bandana or bow tie?

 Most dogs love wearing their Dudiedog accessories, and enjoy all of the attention they receive when wearing them! Always make sure that the bandana is tied comfortably. Because our bandanas are made from lovely quality cottons your dog won't know that it's wearing anything. Wearing a bow tie will feel no different to your dog than wearing a collar.
